68th Ottawa Sparks
Hop into Spring Sleep Over
We have finalized our plans
for our Hop into Spring sleep over on March 30-31. We have
14 girls who plan on attending 3 parents, 2 Guiders and 2 Jr.
helpers. Attached is the schedule for the sleep over, our menu
and the list of items the Sparks are to bring. The emergency numbers
we will be using at the sleep over are the ones given during September
registration, if these have change or if you will not be home,
please provide either Michelle or Amanda with an emergency contact
number for the time of the sleep over. Just a reminder, girls
are to have eaten dinner before arriving. Friday

Kit List
Each Spark is responsible for bringing the following
items to the sleep over. If you are packing the bag for your
daughter, please make sure she knows what she is bringing and
where it is in her bag.
- Sleeping Bag
- Sleeping pad, mattress or foam pad (If you
are sending an air mattress, please make sure there is a way
to blow it up.)
- Pillow
- Pyjamas
- A stuffed animal that follows the Hop into
Spring theme (i.e. chicks, rabbits, a pastel coloured stuffed
animal)
- Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, hairbrush,
hair elastics, face cloth, towel and any other personal toiletries
- Flashlight
- A change of clothes for Saturday morning
- Soft-soled shoes to wear inside
Please Note: It can be a bit drafty in
the Church at night so a sweatshirt and pants would be a good
idea to wear on Friday night.
If you do not have a sleeping bag, foam pad
or flashlight please contact either Michelle or Amanda before
the sleep over and we will try and get you an extra one from
District.
Any medication that is sent to the sleep over
with your daughter must be in its original container with the
name of the Spark and dosage instructions (time of day to take
and amount) clearly indicated on the container. All medication
must be turned into the First Aider (Amanda Brown) when the
Spark arrives at the sleep over. This includes asthma inhalers
and epipens. This is required by official Girl Guide Regulations.
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
If you have any questions regarding the sleep
over please do not hesitate to contact Michelle or Amanda.
