We always
begin our meeting by making a circle, holding hands and skipping
around while singing the song "Let's be Friends ".
We start skipping clockwise and halfway through the song we
change direction and skip counter-clockwise.
Let's be friends and share a song.
Let's be friends and dance along.
Hold my hand we'll skip and play.
Let's put sparkle in our day.
Our promise
is followed by Sharing. We have a roster and each week, two
Sparks bring something from their house to share. Once the
Sparks have explained what it is they have brought, they walk
around the circle with it so all the Sparks can see it.
